Alan has over 10 years experience and comes to Access Legal having worked in both McCann FitzGerald and Brian O’Donnell and Partners solicitors. Alan has significant experience in Commercial, Property and Construction law matters advising on Commercial Contracts, Joint Ventures, Tenders, Commercial Agencies and Acquisition of Investment Properties. As an entrepreneur himself, Alan’s particular skills lie in understanding the issues facing clients and finding practical, cost effective legal solutions. He is also a keen historian.

Niamh McKeever
Niamh brings with her 15 years of experience to Access Legal. She began her career in Eugene F. Collins solicitors before moving to London for a number of years where she gained both in house and law firm experience. Niamh advised on insurance law matters and worked with multinational clients such as LLoyds on behalf of a London private practice. Upon returning to Ireland Niamh joined Agustus Cullen Solicitors working in areas of employment law, litigation and other commercial law matters. She has also worked in the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland.

Wendy Doyle
Wendy is an Employment Law Specialist. She also handles commercial litigation and tax matters. She qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and has recently been admitted to the roll in England and Wales.
Wendy began her career working in taxation with Price Waterhouse Coopers and moved to William Fry’s in 2005 to work in the firm’s Employment and Benefits unit. In 2006, Wendy moved to Deloitte where she set up the employment law service line and liaised with tax, audit and management consulting colleagues in relation to developing the service line both internally and externally and gaining new clients. Wendy left Deloitte in 2009 and at the end of that year set up her own practice specialising in employment law, commercial litigation and taxation

William Crean – Litigation and IP Law
William was previously a senior solicitor within Allied Irish Banks p.l.c (www.aib.ie), one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in Ireland. He was part of their in-house legal team based in their headquarters at Bankcentre in Dublin and advised on all aspects of the Bank’s commercial procurement, IT and outsourcing projects.
Prior to this he worked as European Counsel for Nelvana Limited (www.nelvana.com) one of the world’s leading international producers and distributors of children’s animation. He advised the company on operational matters including: sales, distribution and production including preparing and negotiating agreements for the acquisition and licensing of intellectual property rights.
William has also worked for the Competition Directorate (DGIV) of the European Commission in Brussels, holds a masters degree in European law from the University College Dublin, a law degree from University College Cork and a degree in history from the University of Toronto. William is also a Registered Trade Mark Agent.
Barry MacCarthy – Corporate and Regulatory
A former Partner in BCM Hanby Wallace, Barry is an International Corporate and Regulatory Lawyer with extensive sectoral and jurisdictional experience in both the private and public sphere. Specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions he also advises on general Corporate and Commercial Law as well as public procurement and Regulatory Law. Barry has pro-actively managed and delivered projects across Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, North Africa, the Pacific Rim, South America and the Caribbean.
